THE PURPOSE OF EXPERIMENT
- Students will be able to identify the ingredients their daily foods.
- By understanding the importance of a balanced diet, students will be able to maintain their diet
BASIC THEORY
Food is one of the basic human needs that plays a vital role in maintaining health and survival. Food not only provides energy but also provides various nutrients needed by the body for optimal growth, repair, and function. These nutrients can come from various food groups that contain essential substances for the body.
Food consists of various components divided into two main categories: macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients include carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, while micronutrients include vitamins and minerals. In addition to macronutrients and micronutrients, the body also requires fiber and water to support the survival of living organisms.
A healthy and balanced diet provides all the nutrients the body needs to function properly. By consuming a variety of nutrient-rich foods, we can maintain health and prevent various diseases.
